M.O.R.E. AGENDA: Koko Community Welcomes Isaac Wilkie, Thanks Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori

It was a sight to behold as the Nana Community of Koko Town in Warri North LGA of Delta State Received The Honorable Commissioner For Water Resources – Hon. Dr. Isaac Wilkie on the occasion of his visit to inspect The Just rehabilitated Water Scheme in Nana Town – Koko.

The Commissioner’s entourage was first received by the Warri North Local Government Council Chairman Represented by The Vice Chairman Hon. Florence Besina at the LGA Secretariat who then accompanied the Honorable Commissioner to the Nana Town Head works where a sizable amount of community members where on ground to graciously receive the Honorable Commissioner and his entourage.

Speaking on behalf of the community, Mr. Isaac Mero thanked His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for first deeming it fit to grant their brother who was one time vice chairman of Warri North Local Government Council and former Chairman of The People’s Democratic Party Warri North the opportunity to serve as Commissioner of Water Resources Development and member of the State Executive Council before counting Koko worthy to receive the dividends of the M.O.R.E AGENDA by approving the rehabilitation of the water scheme in Nana Community Koko emphasizing that the community now enjoys Potable Water as they look to get even More in the M.O.R.E. AGENDA.

In response, Hon. Dr. Isaac Wilkie expressed his shock and gratitude for the gracious welcome he received giving the assurance he would bring honor to the Local Government Area with his service.

“I want to thank everyone for the gracious welcome. I’m indeed perplexed and proud. I also want to assure everyone that I would bring even more honor to this local government with my service.

Let me be quick to point out that our coming here today is not for commissioning of this project but to inspect and ensure that the job done here is according to the Standard of Operations in line with His Excellency’s zero tolerance to Substandard Jobs.

I want to also use this medium to plead with the leadership and members of Koko community to own and protect this project and all other government projects spread across the community”.

The Commissioner then proceeded with his entourage and community leaders to inspect and supervise the head works and pipeline Extensions.
